Lawrence, Kan. – Make that two-for-two for the Pozolinski brothers.

One day after Brett Pozolinski earned his spot to the NCAA Championships in high jump, brother Nate Pozolinski punched his ticket to Eugene, Ore. after finishing 12th overall in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA West Regional Saturday on the campus of the University of Kansas.

Nate, just a junior, finished second in his heat and 12th overall. This year's format was altered due to weather, with each of the six heat winners automatically qualifying, and the next six fastest times also earning a trip to nationals.

This will mark the first time Milwaukee will send two student-athletes to the same national meet in program history.

For Nate, this is a big jump from his showing at regionals just one year ago. Then just a sophomore, he finished 28th overall, just missing a spot in last year's quarterfinal run.

He would not leave it up to chance this year. Despite the format change due to weather, he posted one of his fastest times all season – just missing the win and solidifying himself as one of the top 12 in the region.

This marks the fourth time in the last six years Milwaukee will send at least one athlete to outdoor nationals, with Durell Busby being the most recent Panther at the meet; finishing seventh in the 110m hurdles in 2014.

The two NCAA qualifiers come from Milwaukee's record entry of seven individuals at this year's regional meet.

The NCAA Championships are schedule for June 8-11 in Eugene, Ore, hosted by the University of Oregon.
